About This Song
I wrote this song around September–October 2025, during a period of intense work pressure and constant self-reflection. At the time, I found myself carrying many unanswered questions, spending long hours thinking alone, and occasionally feeling isolated by the challenges in front of me.
As those thoughts unfolded, I gradually arrived at a simple conclusion: I had to keep moving forward according to my own vision and determination. In many situations, it is not easy to explain your ideas in a way that others fully understand, sympathize with, or support. And sometimes, the help that could make a journey easier simply does not arrive.
While reflecting on these experiences, I found myself thinking about certain moments in history and a historical figure whose story I had only known in broad strokes. Those memories and ideas began to connect with my own circumstances, eventually finding their way into a song.
No Wind Under The Wing became an expression of perseverance—the decision to continue moving toward a destination even when there is no favorable wind, no external momentum, and no guarantee of understanding from others. It is a reminder that sometimes we must find the strength to fly on our own.
